Chapter History

The Theta Delta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma, Inc. was founded on April 7, 1982 in Killeen, Texas. The Charter members included Brothers Sammy Campbell, Alvin Harris, John Anderson, Earnest Harris, Allen Lewis, Frank Coleman, Mack Mayfield, Raymond Parker, and Ellis Ray Riley. These men recognized a void in the Killeen and surrounding community and founded the chapter to both address the issues of the local community and serve as mentors to the community’s youth.After a brief period of inactivity, the chapter was reactivated in 1987 by Brother Andrew Reese. Theta Delta Sigma has a rich history of demonstrating Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity’s legacy of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service in the Killeen / Ft. Hood community. The Chapter continues to work closely with and mentor our Sigma Beta Club.
